Introducing New Project Manager: Hrafnkatla Eiríksdóttir

Eygló has hired Hrafnkatla Eiríksdóttir as Project Manager. She will start working immediately in the New Year.
The position of Project Manager was advertised for application in mid-September 2024 – the application deadline was September 30. A total of 13 applications were received for the position. The result of the recruitment process was to offer Hrafnkatla the job.

Hrafnkatla holds a Master’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Copenhagen, an additional diploma in Global Health from the University of Iceland, a BA in Ethnology from the University of Iceland and a BSc in Natural and Environmental Sciences from the Agricultural University of Hvanneyri.

Hrafnkatla was born and raised in Skjöldólfsstaðir in Jökuldalur and is well-known to the community and life in East Iceland. She has lived in many parts of the country and in Denmark. For the past year, she has worked as a project manager at Six Rivers Iceland in Vopnafjörður, where she was responsible for all projects, planning, zoning and applications related to the company’s forestry plans.

Hrafnkatla is excited to contribute to better resource utilization and increased innovation in East Iceland and we warmly welcome her to the team.

Eva Mjöll Júlíusdóttir has stepped down as Managing Director of Eygló and we thank her for her work well done.
